Get Connected – Groups InCommon

What do you love to do? What do you have a passion for? Can you spend hours delving into the Scriptures? Have you and your spouse learned how to be happily married for years and you think you could guide other couples in a study to enrich their marriage? Have you raised exceptional kids? Do you know how to manage your budget well? Do you enjoy gourmet cooking or perhaps online gaming? Think about your life passion–that hobby or interest that you love to pursue in your spare time, the skill that you have mastered, the life goal that you want to reach, or your stage of life. Most likely those very things are your strengths–the things God has placed in your life through which you can lead and serve others.

That’s what our Groups InCommon are all about. They’re led by people just like you. Group Leaders at ALAG share their passion with others and are intentional about it. No matter what type of group they lead, they lead others to be a follower of Christ. They don’t just meet at someone’s house to watch football. The leader of that Group uses half time to add a spiritual dimension like a short prayer. He follows up with the guy who said he was having a tough time with his marriage last week.
